About Us

For as long as I can remember, hair has been my language. It’s how I connect with people, how I’ve spent my days for more than a decade!! Listening, learning, and helping others feel at home in themselves again. But somewhere along the way, I started noticing a pattern. No matter how many masks, oils, or treatments we tried, some of my clients still struggled with dry, brittle hair, persistent flakes, or thinning that didn’t make sense.

The deeper I looked, the more I realized these weren’t really hair problems at all. They were scalp problems. Beneath the strands we see and style every day is living skin, often overlooked, quietly unbalanced, and dictating the health of everything that grows from it. That realization changed everything for me. I wanted to understand the “why” behind it all.

So I began studying trichology, immersing myself in the science of scalp and hair health. I learned how stress, hormones, the environment, and even the water we wash with play a role in what our hair becomes. But even as I dove into the science, I felt drawn back to my roots. I was born in Ireland and grew up in Austin, Texas two places that taught me different things about beauty and balance. From Ireland came an appreciation for natural, mineral-rich ingredients like sea moss. From Austin came a love for holistic wellness and the belief that beauty should feel effortless, not complicated.

That’s where Saela began. I wanted to create something that merged science and softness, knowledge and nature. A line of scalp care that felt luxurious yet intentional rooted in both expertise and authenticity. Products that don’t just mask problems but nurture the source of them.

Saela is, at its heart, a love letter to the clients who trust me with their stories, to the craft that shaped my career, and to the belief that true beauty begins from within. Each formula is designed to bring the same care we give our skin to the scalp, to calm, rebalance, and renew.

Because when we care for the place where hair begins, everything changes. The shine, the strength, the way it moves and catches the light. Healthy hair is born from a healthy scalp, and Saela is here to remind you of that connection; gentle, intentional, and rooted in both science and soul.
